So far, the thing I hate most is when a friend of mine, or a new person I’ve just known for only several minutes, is offering me to join insurance program. I don’t know why, but I am totally upset when they urge me several times to join though I’ve said no. Nonetheless, the only thing I admire from them is their sturdiness. Most of the time, they can make a person agrees to join. This must be the result of a good sales training method they have gone through.

 

It seems that most insurance sales agent has a great ability in selling and having good communication skill. They can easily persuade a client to join though actually the client didn’t need any insurance at all formerly. It may be due to their good communication skill with good choices of vocabulary and knowledge about how to minimize a chance of a client to say ‘no’.

Selling insurance quotes may be more difficult from selling goods. It is easier for a person to purchase stuff, something that can be seen directly. But when a client is offered insurance, he or she will need some times for getting a second comparison instead of answering directly. Surely this is very challenging because most people don’t trust insurance agent easily; especially it costs a fortune to join insurance.

Insurance agents MUST have good sales training for their sales people because it takes lots of efforts in selling insurance service. The main key in selling insurance is to be able to make good presentation especially in front of many people. This is the ability which is not possessed by everybody. However, strong commitment from the insurance sales agent to do his job persistently is also required.

Sales training is not enough to make a sales insurance agent manage to get as many clients as possible. Getting lots of references from books, online sales training as well as attending seminars can add motivation and knowledge at the same time. Encouragement can be obtained by getting lots of exposure. And encouragement needs to be trained most of the time by making lots of presentation.

Nevertheless, strongest encouragement can be obtained from within oneself. When a person has no choice, or he is persistently dedicating himself of becoming a sales person to earn for a living, there is no other way than doing what he should do to become a good sales person.
